A stationary front is in the middle of the US following the low pressure system that is bringing another wave of precipitation.

Starting tonight, the NW and Midwest is going to see rain west of the Rockies and snow to the east of the mountains. The temperatures will most likely continue to drop over the weekend and there could be a potential for another wave of snow to come later in the weekend.
