The cold front is moving over the Midwest and turning into a stationary front, with high pressure systems to the north. The high pressure system will bring in colder temperature to the end of the week. Staying away from the very hoped for spring weather. Below that a low pressure area has a warm front to the east and cold front to the west.

The jet stream is still on the northern section of the US, obtaining a trough in the section over the Rockie Mountains. This trough will continue to carry prevalent weather such as snow into the Midwest.

The Southern Minnesota and West-central Wisconsin will continue to get a series of snow into Wednesday, ranging from a 0.5-1" in the morning and lighting up in the afternoon hours. The heaviest snowfall will be before noon.

Predicted snowfall totals will be the heaviest south of the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin.
