April 2, 2018

 Temperature: 30°F
Dew Point: 26°F
Wind: SSE 6 mph
Precipitation: 85%

There is a large low pressure system moving through the US today and tomorrow bringing large quantities of snow with this. In it, there is a mix of warm and cold fronts. The warm air and moisture are moving into the region and rising as it's forced over the cold air in place.

Over the next 24 hours, there is predicted to be 2-6 inches of snow effecting southern Minnesota/north-central Wisconsin. Cold air is following behind the extensive precipitation.

The snowfall will begin to slow in the late hours of the night. But as main low pressure central in central US strengthens and moves into the Midwest, the snow will start to increase to higher accumulations again.
