The jet stream is continuing to move towards the south with a trough remaining over the Rockies. Currently, the winds are moving from the NW.
High pressure systems are moving in from Canada. Additionally, there is a series of low pressure and stationary fronts to the south, where temperatures are also higher.
April is still in its record lows for the Midwest, as it is in the low 30s today. Some are even starting to wonder if the Midwest is just going to skip spring altogether.
